Industry: Automotive | Commercial Vehicles | EV | Off-Highway | Embedded SystemsJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Development Lead to lead the design and development of embedded software solutions for automotive and commercial vehicle applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded C/C++, automotive communication protocols, RTOS, and the complete software development lifecycle. The candidate will lead technical teams, coordinate with customers, and ensure delivery of high-quality automotive software solutions compliant with industry standards.Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software for automotive ECUs and electronic control systems.
- Manage a team of embedded software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
- Drive software architecture, module design, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with system, hardware, mechanical, and validation teams throughout product development.
- Develop embedded software using C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems.
- Implement and optimize real-time applications using RTOS.
- Work on automotive communication protocols including CAN, LIN, CAN FD, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, and USB.
- Support AUTOSAR-based software development and integration where applicable.
- Participate in requirements analysis, effort estimation, planning, and project execution.
- Perform debugging using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, CAN analyzers, and other embedded development tools.
- Ensure compliance with automotive functional safety and coding standards.
- Coordinate with customers during requirement discussions, technical reviews, and issue resolution.
- Manage software releases, documentation, and configuration management.




- Support continuous improvement of development processes and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–15+ years of embedded software development experience in the automotive industry.
- 3+ years of technical leadership or team management experience.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong programming skills in Embedded C and C++
- Experience with 32-bit Microcontrollers (ARM, NXP, STM32, Renesas, Infineon, TI, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or similar)
- Good understanding of embedded hardware and firmware development
- Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, and UART
- Knowledge of automotive software development processes and standards (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, MISRA – preferred)
- Experience in debugging using JTAG, CAN tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
- Experience using defect and project tracking tools such as Jira
- Good understanding of the complete embedded software development lifecycle (requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, and release)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
