Job Summary

We are looking for a Lead Consultant CPQ with 810 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Ownership, or Business Process Tooling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CPQ, Configurators, Sales Operations Tooling, Workflow Automation, and Web Application Development. The role requires strong expertise in managing product backlogs, driving application improvements, defining business workflows, and delivering scalable business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

- Own and manage the AMS, Concierge, and Consulting configurator landscape.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and product documentation.
- Manage product roadmap, backlog, releases, and support processes.
- Identify technical debt, usability issues, and improvement opportunities.

Application Development & Improvement

- Improve reliability, usability, maintainability, and security of business applications.
- Support applications built on Postgres/Next.js and SQLite/Django.
- Enhance workflow automation and business process efficiency.
- Maintain testing, documentation, release management, and defect tracking.

Technical Leadership

- Work closely with developers to design and deliver new features.
- Participate in application architecture, database design, APIs, dashboards, and deployment planning.
- Review technical solutions and recommend improvements.
- Reduce duplicate processes, manual workarounds, and technical debt.

Workflow & Process Management

- Design structured digital workflows for Sales, Pricing, Proposal, and Deal Management.
- Implement approval workflows, estimation logic, and service catalogues.




- Improve process governance and operational efficiency.

Reporting & Analytics

- Define data quality standards and validation rules.
- Develop dashboards for usage, adoption, workflow compliance, cycle time, and support metrics.
- Monitor product adoption and recommend continuous improvements.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Business Leadership, Sales Teams, Pricing, Proposal Management, Deal Desk, IT, Security, and Development teams.
- Conduct user training, onboarding, and change management activities.
- Gather feedback and drive continuous product enhancements.

Required Skills

- 810 years of experience in Product Ownership, Technical Product Management, or Business Process Tooling.
- Strong experience with CPQ, Configurators, Service Catalogues, Pricing Workflows, or Sales Operations Tools.
- Experience with Postgres, Next.js, SQLite, and Django.
- Knowledge of Web Application Development, Databases, APIs, and Workflow Automation.
- Experience in Product Backlog Management, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Release Planning.
- Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and Release Management.
- Experience in Business Process Automation and Workflow Design.
- Hands-on experience with Testing, Debugging, and Application Enhancements.
- Experience in Data Reporting, Dashboards, Metrics, and Continuous Improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in SAP Services, Managed Services, or Enterprise Technology Sales.
- Understanding of Sales Operations, Proposal Management, Pricing, and Deal Management processes.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and Product Management practices.
