Role & responsibilities

- Analyze Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, financial reports, and business performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
- Review revenue, costs, gross margins, operating expenses, and profitability across products, countries, and business units.
- Evaluate financial data and provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Work closely with the Finance team to understand business performance and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and identify key drivers impacting profitability.
- Support the Director in preparing business review presentations by combining financial and commercial insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, reduce costs, and enhance overall business profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, Balance Sheet, and financial reports.
- Ability to interpret financial data and convert it into business insights.
- Solid analytical skills with Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, Dashboards); Power BI is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.
