Sapiens International is looking for an Information Security Operation Expert to join our global IT Security team. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for managing and evolving a wide range of information security products across our on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments worldwide.
You will be a key operational pillar of the team - owning the stability, configuration, and continuous improvement of critical security platforms including EDR, DLP, email protection, cloud security, and identity solutions - while driving automation across the vulnerability management lifecycle and partnering with R&D; and business units to embed secure practices at scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Security Platform Operations
- Manage and maintain a broad portfolio of security products: EDR, DLP, DNS security, Email Protection / Mail Relay, MDM, Identity Protection, Firewall, Cloud Security (CSPM), Exposure Management, and more
- Administer endpoint security across Windows, Mac, and Linux - including vulnerability identification, patching coordination, and hardening
- Own Office 365 security product configuration and optimization (Defender for O365, Purview, Conditional Access, etc.)
- Manage cloud security posture across Azure, AWS, OCI, and/or GCP, applying known security standards and hardening baselines
- Configure and maintain firewalls, proxy/URL filtering, and mail relay systems
Vulnerability Management & Automation
- Own the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle: asset discovery, scan orchestration, CVSS-based prioritization, ticketing, SLA tracking, and remediation validation
- Build AI-assisted automation pipelines that replace manual reporting, accelerate remediation, and surface actionable risk insights for stakeholders
- Develop integrations between security tools and ITSM platforms using Python, REST APIs, and scripting
- Maintain dashboards and automated reporting for vulnerability posture and compliance KPIs
Cloud & Identity Security
- Manage end-to-end security for cloud VMs, Kubernetes, and containerised workloads - ensuring secure configuration, runtime protection, and access controls across the infrastructure.
- Manage and operate CSPM, CNAPP, and CWP platforms across cloud accounts - policy configuration, findings triage, SLA-driven closure, and compliance posture tracking against CIS, NIST, or PCI-DSS benchmarks
- Manage container image security and registry operations - image scanning in CI/CD and runtime, access controls, and audit logs, partnering with developers and DevOps teams to drive remediation without blocking releases
- Manage Kubernetes and cloud misconfiguration findings and translate them into actionable remediation tasks for platform and application teams
- Implement and manage up-to-date authentication frameworks: cloud IDP, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust principles
- Drive Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI security hardening in line with CIS, NIST, or equivalent frameworks
- Conduct security architecture reviews for new cloud workloads and projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- 8 years of experience in the cyber security field, with at least 5 years dedicated to hands-on management of cybersecurity products
- Proven experience managing and supporting large-scale systems, complex cloud environments, and mission-critical business applications
- Demonstrated expertise implementing and managing at least four security solutions from: EDR, DLP, DNS, Email Protection / Mail Relay, MDM, Identity Protection, Cloud Security, or equivalent
- Experience with vulnerability management programs - ownership of the full lifecycle from discovery through remediation
- Demonstrated experience building security automation using Python, APIs, or AI/ML tooling
Technical - Must Have
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms including security vulnerability identification and resolution
- Expertise in Office 365 security products (Defender for O365, Purview, Conditional Access, Entra ID)
- Expertise in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) across Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI
- Experience with CSPM, CNAPP, and CWP platforms for cloud security posture and workload protection
- Practical experience with modern authentication: cloud IDP, SSO, and MFA
- Experience with Azure security compliance and hardening based on recognized security standards (CIS, NIST, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with DLP - policy design, configuration, and tuning
- Firewall, proxy/URL filtering, and email relay management
- Security automation: Python, REST APIs, scripting
