Position: Billing Engineer
Project: UGD & Water Pipeline Projects
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Civil Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Visit project sites regularly and take accurate measurements of completed works.
- Prepare RA Bills, Client Bills, Subcontractor Bills, and Work Bills based on actual site measurements.
- Prepare measurement sheets, abstracts, and supporting documents for billing.
- Verify quantities executed at site with approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Project/Site Engineer to verify completed quantities.
- Prepare and submit bills to the concerned Government Department/Client as per required procedures.
- Follow up with the concerned department for measurement approval, bill certification, and payment processing.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, bills, approvals, and payment status.
- Check BOQ quantities and identify any variations, extra items, or deviations in the work.
- Assist in preparing Variation Statements, Extra Item Statements, and Rate Analysis when required.
- Ensure billing is prepared as per contract conditions, departmental specifications, and approved rates.




- Coordinate with site teams and department officials regarding measurement and billing-related issues.
- Maintain updated records of work progress and quantities for billing purposes.
- Support the Project Manager in preparing monthly progress reports and billing statements.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of UGD (Underground Drainage) and Water Pipeline works.
- Robust knowledge of site measurements and quantity estimation.
- Experience in preparing RA Bills and departmental bills.
- Knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, measurement books (MB), and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with government/departmental billing procedures will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel/visit project sites regularly.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in UGD, water supply, sewerage, pipeline, and other civil infrastructure projects, particularly those who have handled billing with government departments, will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
