Job Title

Grade 5 English Teacher

Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Curriculum

- Lesson Planning: Create and deliver energetic, daily English lessons aligning with school curriculum and educational standards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or Common Core).
- Reading & Literature: Guide students in reading, comprehending, and critically analyzing short stories, poetry, and age-appropriate novels.
- Writing & Grammar: Teach advanced sentence structure, paragraphing, spelling, punctuation, and composition rules.
- Communication Skills: Foster students' listening and speaking abilities through presentations, group discussions, and reading aloud.

Assessment & Administration

- Grading: Evaluate student performance through regular classwork, homework, projects, and examinations.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades,



and academic growth to draft formal progress reports.
- Support: Identify students requiring additional academic support and conduct remedial teaching or targeted interventions

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. (Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience
