Job Summary

Skylark Proteins Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, reconciliations, banking activities, vendor accounts, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including preparation and timely filing of GST returns.
- Perform GST reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between books of accounts and GST portal records.
- Verify, scrutinize, and post purchase invoices after ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate and execute banking transactions and prepare regular bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate banking and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
- Track outstanding balances and manage vendor payments.




- Reconcile vendor accounts on a regular basis.
- Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Assist with audits and preparation of financial reports as required.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely maintenance of accounting records.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of GST, accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
- Good understanding of banking and vendor reconciliation processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Experience

- 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance roles.
- Experience with ERP Navision will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience handling GST compliance and financial closing activities is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
