WE ARE HIRING – LAB TECHNICIAN (Microbiology / Serology / Molecular )

A reputed healthcare facility is seeking a qualified and dedicated Lab Technician to join our team.

Position: Lab Technician
Location: T.Nagar, Chennai-17
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 1yrs and Above

Salary: Full time – 16000 k to 25000 K

Duties Rotational Shift : (Morning, Evening, General)

Preferred: Local Candidates Immediate Joiner*

Key Responsibilities:

- perform routine microbiology, serology, and virology laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures.
- Process, prepare, and analyze patient specimens.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Record, verify, and report test results accurately and promptly.
- Follow quality control and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and inventory of reagents and consumables.
- Adhere to biosafety guidelines, infection control practices, and laboratory safety standards.




- Support laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
- Collaborate effectively with pathologists, microbiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Skills Required:

- Experience in culture techniques, microbial identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
- Knowledge of ELISA, rapid diagnostic tests, and molecular diagnostic techniques (PCR/RT-PCR) is an advantage.

Qualifications:

- Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
