Academic & Teaching

- Conduct lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, seminars and practical sessions for undergraduate/postgraduate students, as applicable.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations and assessment activities.
- Conduct internal assessments, practical examinations and student evaluations.
- Guide and mentor students in academic and clinical activities.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings.
- Maintain teaching records, attendance and examination-related documentation.

Clinical Responsibilities

- Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews.
- Administer and interpret standardised psychological tests as per skilled competency.
- Provide psychological counselling and evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Develop appropriate treatment/intervention plans and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide appropriate referrals when required.

Research & Academic Development

- Participate in clinical research and departmental research projects.
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research findings at conferences,



seminars and academic forums.
- Encourage and guide students in research activities.
- Participate in institutional research and quality-improvement initiatives.

4. Additional Responsibilities

- Assist the HOD in managing the Clinical Psychology department.
- Lead academic and clinical activities within the department.
- Mentor Assistant Professors and junior faculty.
- Supervise clinical training, internships and student projects.
- Develop and coordinate departmental academic programmes.
- Lead research projects and encourage publications and collaborations.
- Participate in departmental audits, accreditation and regulatory inspections.
- Support development of clinical protocols and departmental SOPs.

5. Required Qualification

Assistant Professor

- Master's degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology with the applicable RCI-recognised professional qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Valid RCI registration, wherever applicable.
- Relevant clinical and teaching experience preferred.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology/Psychology and research publications will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
