Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Jr & Sr Python Developer/Lead Developer with strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF) to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend architecture, REST API development, cloud deployment, database optimization, and modern software engineering practices.

This role requires solid technical leadership, ownership, problem-solving abilities, and experience working in Agile product development environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and DRF
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient backend architectures
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases
- Implement asynchronous processing and task scheduling using Celery, Redis, or similar technologies
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Follow software security, compliance,



and data privacy standards
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Stay updated with modern backend technologies and engineering best practices

Required Skills

Mandatory:

- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development
- Strong expertise in Python
- Strong expertise in Django — Mandatory
- Strong expertise in Django REST Framework (DRF) — Mandatory
- Strong experience in REST API development
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working on enterprise or product-based applications
- Previous experience leading development teams
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD
- Experience with Celery, Redis, and asynchronous processing
