About the Role

The Business Central Developer provides solid, hands-on technical development capability across the group’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. The role is responsible for designing, building, testing and supporting AL extensions and Power Platform integrations that keep Business Central, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and Power BI working together reliably across multiple related companies within a complex healthcare group structure, while the group progresses its Business Central v27.5 to v28.3 upgrade and continues to mature its ERP and Power Platform governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and deploy AL extensions for Business Central using events, subscribers and other upgrade-safe, non-invasive development patterns that coexist cleanly with third-party ISV extensions already in use.
- Support the Business Central v27.5 to v28.3 upgrade and future updates, including extension compatibility testing, code remediation and app.json version-range management.
- Build and maintain integrations between Business Central, Power Automate, Power Apps and Dataverse, following managed solution and ALM practices (publisher/environment governance, service-account-based connections rather than personal credentials).
- Develop and consume Business Central APIs (OData v4, custom API pages and queries), including configuring and troubleshooting OAuth2/Entra ID app registrations for secure system-to-system integration.
- Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards on Business Central data, using DAX and appropriate Direct Query/Import strategies.
- Work with binary/BLOB data and document handling within Business Central, including attachments and their integration with document capture and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Business Central performance,



data and integration issues across Production and Sandbox environments.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, integration architecture diagrams and support runbooks for all custom development.

Key Operational duties

- Collaborate with the ERP Consultant, CFO and third-party implementation partners on extension development, upgrade coordination and issue resolution.
- Prepare release notes, work instructions and handover material as new features or processes are implemented.
- Provide second-line technical support for Business Central and Power Platform issues escalated by end users.

What we are looking for

- Experienced candidate with high technical knowledge with experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including strong AL programming skills (tables, pages, codeunits, reports, events and subscribers).
- Candidates with consulting experience would be highly desirable.
- Robust English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.




- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining extensions that integrate cleanly with other ISV/PTE extensions and managing extension compatibility across major Business Central version upgrades.
- Solid Power Platform experience — Power Automate, Power Apps and Dataverse — including sound solution management and ALM practices.
- Strong Power BI skills, including DAX and building reports and dashboards directly on Business Central data.
- Experience with API integration, including Business Central’s OData/REST APIs and OAuth2/Entra ID app registration and authentication flows.
- Experience handling Datalake/BLOB data and document or attachment management within Business Central.
- Broader Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft 365 ecosystem experience; working knowledge of Binary stream MEM highly regarded.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-company ERP environments and display resilience.
- Good Documentation habits and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the team.
- Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability services or another regulated sector would be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
