Junior Merchandiser

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Merchandiser to support the merchandising team in managing orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, tracking production, and ensuring timely delivery of products according to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in handling customer orders from order confirmation to final shipment.
- Prepare and maintain order sheets, purchase orders, and production-related documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, factories, production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Follow up on sampling, approvals, production progress, and shipment schedules.
- Monitor order status and ensure timelines are maintained.
- Communicate customer requirements, specifications, and quality standards to relevant teams.
- Track fabric, trims, accessories, and other materials required for production.
- Assist in preparing costing and updating order details.
- Identify production delays or issues and report them to the senior merchandiser.




- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular status reports.
- Support the Senior Merchandiser in day-to-day merchandising activities.
- Ensure products are developed and delivered according to agreed quality, quantity, cost, and delivery requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Textile, Fashion, Apparel, or a related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in merchandising/apparel industry; freshers may also be considered.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Basic understanding of garment/textile production processes.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and meet deadlines.
- Valuable written and spoken English.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
