About the Role

Adobe is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer to create, review, and maintain high-quality technical and product documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with software/product documentation and collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to translate complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain product and technical documentation, including user guides, developer documentation, release notes, knowledge base articles, implementation guides, and other technical content.
- Review and edit documentation created by other technical writers to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and SMEs to understand product features and technical requirements.
- Simplify complex technical concepts and workflows into easy-to-understand documentation.
- Maintain and follow documentation standards, style guides, terminology, and editorial best practices.
- Manage documentation throughout its lifecycle, from planning and creation to review, publishing, and maintenance.
- Contribute to information architecture, content organization, and documentation quality improvements.
- Support documentation for product releases, recent features, enhancements, and technical changes.




- Identify gaps and inconsistencies in existing documentation and recommend improvements.
- Mentor or provide guidance to junior technical writers where required.
- Use modern documentation and collaboration tools to manage content and documentation workflows.
- Explore and leverage AI-assisted tools and automation to improve documentation efficiency and quality.

Mandatory Skills

- 8–12 years of Technical Writing / Technical Documentation experience
- Strong experience in Product Documentation / Software Documentation
- Experience creating and editing User Guides, Release Notes, Knowledge Base, SOPs, Implementation Guides, or similar documentation
- Strong editorial/reviewing and proofreading skills
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product Managers, QA, and SMEs
- Strong understanding of documentation standards, style guides, and content quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
