Job Summary

The Solar Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all on-

site activities related to the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power

plants. The role ensures project execution as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety

regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical installation activities.

 Execute work as per approved drawings and specifications.

 Conduct site surveys and layout marking.

 Supervise installation of MMS, PV modules, inverters, ACDB/DCDB, transformers, RMU,

earthing, lightning protection, cable trays and cables.

 Ensure quality inspections and compliance.

 Implement HSE requirements and toolbox talks.

 Verify material receipt and consumption.

 Coordinate with client and DISCOM regarding site issues.

 Maintain DPRs,



QA/QC records and measurement sheets.

 Assist in testing, commissioning and grid synchronization.

 Attend onsite client meetings and close observations.

Required Skills

 Knowledge of solar PV installation.

 Ability to read electrical and civil drawings.

 Knowledge of IS/IEC standards and safety.

 Robust communication, reporting and problem-solving.

Software Skills

 Microsoft Excel

 Microsoft Office

Education

 B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering.

Experience

 1–3 years in solar EPC projects; Ground Mounted experience preferred. Must have driving

License.
