Key Responsibilities :

- Operate cutting machines for flexible packaging materials such as laminated films, plastic films, paper, and other packaging substrates.
- Set machine parameters including cutting length, width, speed, tension, and other required settings.
- Read and understand production work orders, job cards, specifications, and production schedules.
- Ensure accurate cutting as per customer and production specifications.
- Check material dimensions, roll condition, cutting accuracy, and finished-product quality.
- Monitor machine performance during production and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain proper tension and alignment of materials during the cutting process.
- Minimize material wastage, rejection, and production downtime.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities, quality issues, and material defects to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper production records, machine logs,



wastage reports, and shift handover information.
- Ensure proper handling, identification, labeling, and storage of finished rolls/materials.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace instructions.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the production area.
- Coordinate with Printing, Lamination, Pouching, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth production.
