About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Interior Manager to oversee the planning, execution, coordination, and timely completion of interior projects at Studio Ridgeline, Shimla.

The Interior Manager will be responsible for managing the complete interior execution process, coordinating with designers, architects, contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams, while ensuring that all work is completed as per approved designs, drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities1. Interior Project Execution

- Manage end-to-end execution of interior projects from planning to final handover.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, designs, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth progress of work.
- Coordinate civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, false ceiling, flooring, painting, furniture, and other interior works.
- Identify execution issues and ensure timely resolution.

2. Design & Drawing Coordination

- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, consultants, and project teams for design development and execution.
- Review working drawings, shop drawings, material specifications, and site measurements.
- Ensure that drawings and designs are properly interpreted and implemented at site.
- Coordinate for revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are available with the execution team.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

- Manage contractors, vendors, fabricators, carpenters, and other agencies involved in interior works.
- Coordinate manpower deployment and ensure adequate resources at the site.
- Monitor contractor performance, work quality, timelines, and adherence to agreed specifications.
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery with the Purchase and Stores teams.

4. Quality Control

- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to approved design standards.




- Conduct regular inspections of ongoing works.
- Check finishing, dimensions, alignment, materials, and installation quality.
- Identify defects and ensure rectification before final approval.
- Maintain quality standards expected for premium/luxury interior projects.

5. Project Planning & Timelines

- Prepare and monitor project execution schedules in coordination with the Project Head.
- Track daily and weekly progress against planned targets.
- Highlight delays, dependencies, and potential risks to management.
- Ensure timely completion of milestones and final handover.

6. Cost & Material Management

- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Accounts teams regarding material requirements, quotations, bills, and contractor payments.
- Ensure execution remains within approved budgets and BOQs.
- Verify measurements and quantities submitted by contractors wherever required.

7. Site Coordination

- Conduct regular site meetings with contractors and relevant team members.
- Coordinate with civil, MEP, architecture, landscape, and other project teams to avoid clashes and delays.
- Maintain proper site documentation, progress reports, measurement records, and snag lists.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and discipline at the project site.

8. Snagging & Handover

- Conduct pre-handover inspections and prepare snag lists.
- Coordinate with contractors to close all pending and defective works.
- Ensure all finishing and installation works are completed as per approved standards.
- Support the Project Head in final project handover.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of interior design execution and construction processes.
- Excellent understanding of interior materials,



finishes, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Robust project management and site coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Good vendor and contractor management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Interior Design or Project Management will be an advantage.

Experience

- 8–10 years of relevant experience in interior execution/project management.
- Candidates with experience in luxury residential, hospitality, premium commercial, or high-end interior projects will be preferred.
- Prior experience managing contractors, vendors, and multiple interior works simultaneously is essential.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Interior Project Manager who can independently manage site execution, coordinate multiple stakeholders, identify practical solutions to site challenges, and ensure that the final outcome matches the design intent and quality standards of Studio Ridgeline.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
