Team Lead – Rebar Detailing Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Rebar Detailing to lead and manage a team of Rebar Detailers and ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality reinforcement detailing for structural projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Rebar Detailing, AutoCAD, Rebar Estimation, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), Reinforcement Drawings, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the Rebar Detailing team.
- Review and verify reinforcement drawings before submission.
- Prepare and check Rebar Detailing Drawings, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and Bar Lists.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, structural drawings, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Project Managers, and other project teams.
- Allocate projects/tasks to team members and monitor daily progress.
- Review team members' drawings and identify errors or discrepancies.
- Handle RFI/technical queries related to reinforcement detailing.
- Check reinforcement quantities, bar marks, bar lengths, spacing, laps, anchorage, and bending details.
- Ensure all drawings are completed within the project schedule and required quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior Rebar Detailers.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.
- Coordinate with estimation teams for Rebar Quantity Take-Off and Rebar Estimation.
- Monitor team productivity and report project status to management.
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings according to client requirements.





Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Rebar Detailing and Reinforcement Drawing.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and Bar List preparation.
- Knowledge of Rebar Estimation / Quantity Take-Off.
- Ability to read and interpret Structural & Architectural Drawings.
- Good understanding of reinforcement standards and detailing practices.
- Strong checking and quality-control skills.
- Positive team management and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in Rebar Detailing / Structural Detailing.
- Previous experience in a Team Lead / Senior Rebar Detailer role is preferred.

Experience

3–7+ years of relevant experience in Rebar Detailing, with proven experience in handling and supervising a detailing team.

Preferred Candidate

- Experienced in handling a team of Rebar Detailers.
- Strong technical and problem-solving ability.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Able to work independently and manage project deadlines.
- Experience with international/overseas structural projects will be an added advantage.
