Your role

- Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between design and implementation.

- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse existing business processes and recommend improvements through technology solutions.
- Support application design by providing functional guidance for Azure-based and Node.js applications.
- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support application onboarding by creating a roll-out plan and analysing functional requirements and enhancements needed in the application for integration.
- Assist in defect triage, issue resolution, and change management activities.
- Review APIs and integration requirements for enterprise systems.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, Agile, and organizational governance processes.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage application rollouts across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
- Work with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth release planning and deployment.
- Prepare and communicate release schedules, deployment plans, and rollout communications to stakeholders.
- Coordinate Go-Live activities, including deployment validation, smoke testing, and business sign-off.
- Manage rollout risks, dependencies, and rollback plans to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Track post-deployment issues and coordinate with technical teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure all functional documentation, release notes, and user guides are updated prior to deployment.
- Support change management activities by communicating new features, enhancements, and process changes to business users.
- Coordinate user training sessions and knowledge transfer for new functionality before production rollout.




- Monitor post-production adoption and gather user feedback for continuous improvements.

To succeed, you will need

7–10 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst.

- - Experience working on enterprise applications built using Microsoft Azure and modern backend technologies such as Node.js .
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application architecture and enterprise integrations.
- Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills with the ability to drive functional discussions and deliver high-quality business solutions.
- Experience managing end-to-end application rollouts, including release planning, deployment coordination, production validation, and hypercare support.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful releases with minimal business impact.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , Software Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering , Information Systems , or a related discipline.
- Master's degree (MBA, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, ECBA) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (such as AZ-900 ) are an added advantage.
- Certifications in Agile/Scrum (Certified Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, SAFe, or equivalent) are desirable.
