About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team on a 3-4 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites while ensuring high performance, security, responsiveness, and a great user experience.

You will work closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to build and improve websites based on business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build responsive and user-friendly websites from designs and requirements.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins as required.
- Develop custom WordPress functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, payment gateways, forms, and other tools.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and compatibility problems.
- Ensure websites follow WordPress development and security best practices.
- Perform website updates, backups, migrations, and maintenance when required.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and other developers to deliver projects on time.
- Test websites across different browsers and devices.
- Monitor and improve website security, stability, and overall performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML5,



CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes/plugins is a plus.
- Good understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization and basic SEO principles.
- Experience with Git/version control is preferred.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, or other popular WordPress tools.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of WordPress security and website migration.
- Understanding of basic UI/UX principles.
- Experience working with Figma or converting designs into responsive WordPress websites.

Contract Details

- Contract Duration: 3-4 months
- Engagement: Contract basis
- Availability: Candidates should be able to commit to the full contract period.
- Possibility of Extension: May be considered based on project requirements and performance.
