Project: IIT Powai – Renovation Project
Location: Powai, Mumbai
Salary: Up to ₹70,000 per month
Experience: 3–6 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
We are looking for a Junior MEP Engineer – Electrical / Mechanical for an IIT Powai Renovation Project. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in MEP site execution, coordination and supervision activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in execution and supervision of MEP works at the renovation project site.
- Handle day-to-day Electrical / Mechanical MEP activities as assigned.
- Read and understand MEP drawings, layouts, shop drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate MEP activities with Civil, Architectural and other services teams.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for smooth execution of site activities.
- Monitor work progress and ensure execution as per approved drawings and project requirements.
- Assist in inspection, testing and commissioning of MEP services.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with Senior Engineers / Project Manager for resolution.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records and other project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, coordination and site execution.
- Good understanding of either Electrical or Mechanical services.
- Experience in renovation / commercial / institutional projects will be preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently at site and coordinate with multiple agencies.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience in IIT / Educational / Institutional / Commercial / High-Rise / Large Building Renovation Projects will be preferred.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
