Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee execution, quality control, billing, and liaison for state infrastructure and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing government department projects, specifically with PWD (Public Works Department) and DSIIDC (Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation).

Key Responsibilities

- Project Execution & Planning:
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of civil and infrastructure projects in accordance with PWD and DSIIDC specifications and guidelines.
- Prepare and manage project master schedules (Gantt charts/PERT/CPM), resource allocation, and daily/weekly execution targets.
- Departmental Liaison & Approvals:
- Act as the primary point of contact for PWD, DSIIDC, and other relevant government authorities, client engineers, and project management consultants (PMCs).
- Handle project approvals, site handovers, design modifications, variation approvals, and formal correspondence.
- Billing, Tendering & Measurement:
- Supervise running account (RA) bill preparation, joint measurements, and final bill processing in compliance with PWD/DSIIDC standard schedule of rates (CPWD/DSR).
- Assist in tender documentation, cost estimation, quantity surveying, and variance analysis.
- Quality Control & Safety:
- Ensure strict compliance with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) standards, testing procedures, and safety norms required for government civil works.




- Oversee quality checks, material testing, lab reporting, and site inspection records.
- Vendor & Site Management:
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, site engineers, and labor teams to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
- Inspect raw materials on delivery and monitor site inventory to prevent delays or waste.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 8–15 years of total civil construction experience, with a minimum of 4–5 years successfully managing state government projects (PWD / DSIIDC).
- Technical Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of CPWD/PWD specifications, DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates), government tendering processes, and contracts management.
- Proficiency in reading structural/architectural drawings and using project management tools (AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Office).
- Skills: Strong leadership, site coordination, negotiation, billing reconciliation, and contract resolution skills.
