Role Overview

SR Group of Institutions, Jhansi, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer to join the Department of Pharmacy for its Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) program. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at a recognized pharmacy college or academic institution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering theory lectures, supervising practical laboratory sessions, assisting in PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) compliance documentation, and mentoring students to achieve academic and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Pedagogy

- Deliver engaging classroom lectures in core D.Pharma subjects (such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Human Anatomy & Physiology) per the PCI curriculum.
- Conduct interactive tutorial classes and practical lab sessions.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, course files, lecture notes, and lab manuals in advance of the academic term.
- Utilize modern teaching aids, multimedia tools, and educational technology to enhance the learning process.

2. Laboratory Instruction & Safety

- Conduct, supervise, and guide students through daily practical laboratory experiments.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols, waste disposal guidelines, and chemical handling procedures.
- Maintain equipment, glasswares, and chemical inventory logbooks within assigned laboratories.

3. Student Assessment & Mentorship

- Design, set, and evaluate internal sessional examination papers, quizzes,



assignments, and practical tests.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, continuous assessment marks, and academic performance.
- Act as a batch mentor/counselor to provide academic guidance, monitor student progress, and support personal development.

4. Departmental & Administrative Duties

- Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in preparing documentation required for PCI inspections, university affiliation, and accreditation audits.
- Participate actively in departmental faculty meetings, curriculum review sessions, and academic committees.
- Organize and support co-curricular events, technical workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and pharmacy week celebrations.
- Invigilate internal and external PCI/Board examinations as assigned.
