A Maintenance Fitter inspects, maintains, repairs, and installs mechanical machinery and plant equipment to ensure smooth production and minimize downtime.

Core Responsibilities

- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, lubrication, and planned inspections on mechanical systems (pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics).
- Breakdown & Repair: Diagnose mechanical faults, dismantle machinery, replace worn/damaged components, and test reassembled equipment.
- Fabrication & Fitting: Align, fit, assemble, and calibrate machine parts using hand and power tools, lathes, grinders, and basic welding equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety standards, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and company safety guidelines.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, parts used, and equipment performance logs.

Key Skills & Requirements

- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission systems,



and machine blueprints/schematics.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to systematically diagnose complex mechanical failures under time pressure.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators) and industrial repair tools.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
