Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, prepare accurate financial reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and support financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate has robust analytical skills, leadership abilities, and extensive knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable tax regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
- Review journal entries, invoices, and payment processes for accuracy.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare tax returns and support statutory filings where applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and financial issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.




- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
- Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

- Full-time position.
- Office or hybrid work environment, depending on company policy.
- May require additional hours during month-end, year-end, and audit periods.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Successful completion of month-end and year-end closing.
- Audit compliance with minimal findings.
- Accuracy of account reconciliations.
- Compliance with tax and statutory deadlines.
- Process improvements and operational efficiency.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
