Ø Conducting and monitoring prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures

Ø Maintaining artificial and natural airways

Ø Performing pulmonary function testing

Ø Performing hemodynamic monitoring and other physiologic monitoring

Ø Documenting information to a patient’s medical record/maintaining accurate and complete records

Ø Communicating assessments and updates with members of the healthcare team

Ø Assembling, maintaining, and calibrating respiratory therapy equipment

Ø Identifying and remedying respiratory care equipment malfunctions

Ø Communicating with patients and patient families

Ø Educating patients on disease prevention and lung health

Ø Educating patients on the use of inhalers and inhalation devices

Ø Performing testing to assist in diagnosis, treatment, and research





Ø Interprets and evaluates written standards relevant to services within area of practice.

Ø Initiates and interprets laboratory tests, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests as appropriate.

Ø Identifies differential diagnoses and prioritizes patient health needs.

Ø Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings.

Ø Establishes a plan of patient care.

Ø Seeks consultation with other health team members as outlined in practice agreement.

Ø Implements plan of care in safe, effective and skilled manner.

Pay: ₹9,652.52 - ₹39,515.03 per month
