- Install, inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical and medical equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and maintain accurate service records.
- Evaluate equipment performance, safety, and functionality.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to understand equipment requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Train healthcare personnel on the safe and effective operation of biomedical equipment.
- Support equipment procurement, installation, acceptance testing, and replacement.
- Maintain equipment inventories, maintenance schedules, calibration records, and incident reports.
- Assist with risk assessment, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and service vendors for technical support and repairs.
- Participate in evaluation and implementation of recent medical technologies.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, SOPs, and other engineering documentation.
- Ensure biomedical equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations and applicable standards.
