Accounts Head – Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Head / Head – Finance & Accounts
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Managing Director / Director / CFO
Experience: 8–15+ years
Qualification: CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent

Knowledge of Import & Export is preffered.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Finance & Accounts function of the organization.
- Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI and other statutory compliances.
- Supervise preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns and tax-related documents.
- Monitor bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and trial balance.
- Prepare MIS reports, P&L;, Balance Sheet and cash-flow statements for management.
- Monitor budgeting, cost control and variance analysis.
- Manage working capital, receivables, payables and credit control.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, statutory authorities and financial institutions.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for purchase, sales, expenses and payments.
- Review and authorize vendor payments, customer receipts and accounting entries.
- Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls.




- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits and provide required information/documents.
- Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with stores, purchase and production teams where applicable.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports for management decision-making.
- Lead, train and supervise the accounts team.
- Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly and yearly accounts.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial information.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
