Job Title: Visiting Consultant Cardiologist

Location: Velamadam, Nagercoil (Kanyakumari District)
Hospital: Gerdi Gutperle Agasthiyar Muni Children and Maternity Hospital

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Consultant Cardiologist to provide visiting consultant services at our hospital on a weekly once or twice visit basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions and providing expert cardiology consultation and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct cardiology consultations and comprehensive cardiovascular assessments.
- Diagnose and manage common and complex cardiac conditions.
- Review ECG, Echo, TMT, Holter, laboratory investigations, and other relevant reports.
- Evaluate patients with chest pain, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Provide appropriate treatment plans and follow-up recommendations.
- Advise on preventive cardiology, lifestyle modifications, and risk-factor management.
- Coordinate with other consultants and hospital departments when required.




- Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: MD/DNB in General Medicine with DM/DNB in Cardiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Relevant experience in cardiology consultation and patient management.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified and patient-focused approach.

Visiting Schedule:

- 1–2 visits per week
- Visit-based remuneration
- Pay: Negotiable based on experience and consultation requirements
