Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC & Refrigeration Trainer to provide practical and theoretical training in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The trainer will be responsible for delivering industry-oriented instruction, conducting practical sessions, assessing trainee performance, and ensuring that students develop the technical skills required for employment in the HVAC&R; industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical training on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems.
- Explain the principles of refrigeration, cooling cycles, heat transfer, and HVAC systems.
- Provide hands-on training in installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AC and refrigeration equipment.
- Train students on split AC, window AC, inverter AC, cassette AC, package AC, commercial refrigeration, and related systems.
- Demonstrate the use of tools, testing instruments, gauges, and service equipment.
- Train students in refrigerant charging, recovery, evacuation, leak detection, and protected handling practices.
- Teach electrical and electronic components used in AC and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and workshop/lab sessions.
- Develop lesson plans, training materials, practical assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate trainees through practical tests, written examinations, assignments, and projects.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and other required training documentation.
- Ensure proper safety practices and discipline during practical sessions.
- Keep trainees updated on modern HVAC technologies, energy-efficient systems, and industry practices.
- Support students in developing job-ready technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Coordinate with the training/academic department regarding curriculum, schedules, examinations, and student progress.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC & Refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and system components.
- Practical knowledge of compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, motors, thermostats, sensors, and control systems.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuit diagrams, and basic electronic controls.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common AC and refrigeration faults.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Familiarity with refrigerant handling and environmental/safety practices.
- Ability to operate and demonstrate HVAC testing and servicing tools.
Educational Qualification
- ITI/Diploma/Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry certification or vocational training qualification will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant industry or teaching/training experience in AC & Refrigeration/HVAC.
- Candidates with strong practical industry experience and a passion for technical training will be preferred.

Work Environment
The trainer will be required to conduct both classroom-based theoretical sessions and hands-on practical training in laboratories/workshops and may also be required to support examinations, assessments, demonstrations, and industry-oriented training activities.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
