About the Position:
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the ELS Cfo Engineering Team, reporting directly to the ELS Cfo Engineering Lead.
This position is based at our office in Gurgaon.
Your Responsibilities will be:
As Technical Project Manager for Cluster / CDC product lines, you will lead the design, development, integration, and validation of digital automotive cluster / CDC systems. You will manage project delivery with cross-functional teams, drive requirements alignment with Auto OEMs, and ensure robust design and process validation planning. Your technical strength and leadership will be key to delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant products. You will act as the front face of the product line for customers, demonstrating strong customer engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Management
Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams for cluster / CDC product development. Drive project timelines, risk assessments, change control, and ECN processes. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supplier, and customer engineering teams.
Development Lifecycle Management
Ensure compliance with Auto OEM development lifecycles: requirements, design, validation, release, and support. Define, baseline, and maintain system requirements and architecture (HW/SW interfaces, communication protocols). Align requirements and deliverables with OEM and supplier expectations. Conduct trade-off studies and feasibility analyses for design decisions.
Design & Process Validation Planning
Lead planning and monitoring of Design Validation (DV) and Process Validation (PV). Oversee testing plans, including EMC/EMI, HIL/SIL, functional, safety, and performance validation. Manage hardware reliability and failure mode analysis. Collaborate in end-of-line testing and manufacturing validation.
Technical Guidance & Mentorship
Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior and senior engineers. Support system integration and validation (vehicle and bench), ensuring robust HW/SW interfaces. Maintain strong technical proficiency and up-to-date knowledge on relevant standards, platforms, and protocols.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
+Minimum 10 years’ experience managing automotive cluster / CDC projects—with strong OEM exposure.
Proven expertise in development lifecycle for Auto OEMs, and robust planning and monitoring of DV/PV.
Other skills that we would welcome:
Experience in Cost management (OPEX/CAPEX/Effort)
Experience with ISO 26262 and cybersecurity standards.
Familiarity with DOORS, JIRA for requirements management.
Knowledge of UI/UX frameworks (Qt, Kanzi), cloud vehicle architectures, and OTA updates.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global automotive environment.
Expectations from you in this position:
Advanced technical knowledge of automotive clusters / CDC hardware/software integration.
Experience with embedded SW development (RTOS, AUTOSAR), hardware design review, and testing.
Skilled in HIL/SIL validation, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in customer engagement, acting as the front face for customers and building lasting relationships.
