AutoCAD Designer – Electrical (Control Panel)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer – Electrical (Control Panel) to design and prepare electrical control panel drawings using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOM preparation while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings, panel layout drawings, and wiring schematics using AutoCAD.
- Design electrical control panels such as PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD, and automation panels.
- Create single-line diagrams (SLD), terminal plans, and cable schedules.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for panel manufacturing.
- Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Revise drawings based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant electrical standards and company quality requirements.




- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.

Requirements:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in electrical control panel design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of electrical components, control circuits, PLC panels, MCC, PCC, VFD, and automation systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
