Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in test planning and execution, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web applications using Playwright.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release activities in an Agile environment.
- Ensure software quality by validating functionality, performance, and usability.
- Prepare test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)



and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end web automation — writing, debugging, and maintaining test suites.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience using AI tools to accelerate automation workflows — AI-assisted test case generation, script authoring and maintenance, self-healing locators, or failure triage.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Experience with Java or Python for automation scripting.

Pay: ₹336,916.08 - ₹900,000.00 per year
