Job Summary

We are looking for a Construction Contract Engineer to manage and coordinate construction contracts, commercial activities, billing, variations, claims, and contractual documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction contracts and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and administer construction contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Monitor contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prepare and review BOQ, RA Bills, work orders, and variation statements.
- Handle extra items, deviation statements, rate analysis, and quantity reconciliation.
- Prepare and evaluate contractual claims, notices, extensions of time, and related documentation.
- Review tender and contract conditions and identify commercial/contractual risks.
- Coordinate with project, billing, planning, procurement, and site teams.
- Maintain proper records of contracts, correspondence, approvals, and claims.
- Support negotiations with clients,



consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Track payments, recoveries, retention, advances, and other commercial matters.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in construction contracts/commercial management.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ, billing, variations, and claims.
- Experience with MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good analytical, documentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
