Department - Operations (Bangalore)

Responsibilities -

- Spare Parts Procurement:

Identify spare part requirements based on vehicle maintenance schedules, repair orders, and inventory levels, and initiate procurement processes to acquire necessary parts from approved suppliers or vendors.

- Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain relationships with spare parts suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual agreements.

- Inventory Management:

Manage spare parts inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and optimizing inventory turnover to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and associated carrying costs.

- Order Fulfillment:

Receive and process spare parts requisitions from workshop technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution of parts to meet service requirements and minimize vehicle downtime.

- Quality Assurance:

Inspect incoming spare parts shipments for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications and standards, rejecting non-conforming parts and coordinating returns or replacements as needed.

- Inventory Tracking and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory transactions,



including receipts, issuances, transfers, and adjustments, and generate reports to track inventory levels, usage patterns, and replenishment needs.

- Cost Management:

Monitor spare parts procurement costs, analyzing pricing trends, negotiating discounts, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize spending and achieve budgetary targets.

- Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards for spare parts procurement, inventory management, and documentation, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.

- Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with workshop supervisors, maintenance staff, and other internal stakeholders to understand spare parts requirements, resolve issues, and provide support as needed to ensure smooth operations.

- 10. On-Time Billing and Spares Consumption:

Ensure timely billing for spare parts. Track and report on spares consumption to optimize inventory management.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
