We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 3D Animator to join our VFX team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of 3D animation, visual storytelling and production workflows, with the ability to bring characters, objects and environments to life through engaging and realistic animation.

Role Overview

As a 3D Animator, you will be responsible for designing and executing 3D animations across a range of creative projects. Your work will include 3D modelling, texturing, character animation, digital props, environments and visual effects, while ensuring high-quality output aligned with the project's creative vision.

You will work closely with our creative and production teams to create visually compelling and technically accurate animations for advertising, branded content, films, social media and other digital projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute creative concepts and visual styles for 3D animations.
- Create high-quality 3D animations for advertising, branded content, film, social media and other projects.
- Bring characters, objects and environments to life using keyframe animation, motion capture and other animation techniques.
- Apply principles of timing, spacing, weight, anticipation, follow-through and motion to create realistic and expressive animation.
- Work with 3D models, rigs, textures, props and digital environments.
- Use lighting,



shading and camera techniques to enhance the overall visual quality of scenes.
- Participate in pre-production activities including storyboarding, animatics and concept development.
- Work closely with designers, writers, VFX artists and other creative team members to develop cohesive visual content.
- Ensure animations meet project specifications, deadlines and quality standards.
- Make revisions based on creative feedback and client requirements.
- Maintain organised project files and animation assets throughout the production process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Computer Graphics, Animation or a related field.
- Min 3 years of experience as a 3D Animator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in 3D animation software such as Maya & Unreal Engine
- Strong understanding of 3D animation principles, timing, motion dynamics and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of motion capture and facial rigging.
- Experience working with character animation, props and environments.
- Knowledge of compositing software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke or Fusion.
- Understanding of lighting, shading, rendering and camera techniques.
- Strong creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and translate concepts into compelling visuals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative and technical teams.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
