WAREHOUSE MANAGER – TYRE STORAGE & OPERATIONS
To independently manage the complete tyre warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, proper storage and preservation of tyres, timely inward/outward movement, efficient space utilization, manpower productivity, safety and proper documentation.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and maintain proper warehouse discipline.
- Maintain SKU-wise, size-wise and category-wise tyre inventory with accurate stock records.
- Supervise tyre inward, inspection, storage, picking, loading and dispatch.
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, deterioration and unnecessary stock loss.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor ageing, slow-moving, damaged and rejected stock.
- Ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space and systematic tyre stacking.
- Supervise warehouse manpower and monitor attendance, productivity and discipline.
- Ensure safe handling, loading/unloading, fire safety, housekeeping and warehouse security.
- Prevent unauthorized stock movement, pilferage and avoidable damage.
- Coordinate with Management, Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics,
Transporters and Customers.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock, inward/outward, ageing, discrepancy and warehouse performance reports.
- Identify operational issues and recommend improvements in inventory control, space utilization and warehouse efficiency.
4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Graduate / Diploma in any relevant discipline.
- 5–8 years of warehouse management experience.
- Experience in Tyre / Automotive / Auto Parts / Logistics / Distribution will be preferred.
- Experience handling high-volume inventory and warehouse manpower will be an advantage.
5. REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong warehouse and inventory management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
- Strong stock reconciliation and documentation skills.
- Good manpower handling and leadership ability.
- Robust planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and accountability.
- Ability to independently manage warehouse operations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
