We're looking for someone who can turn written content into simple, clear visuals — the kind used in training videos, e-learning modules, and educational courses. Some companies call this a Storyboard Artist. Others call it a Visualizer, an Instructional Designer, or a Content Visualizer. If your work involves reading content and sketching out how it should look on screen, this role is for you — whatever your current title says.
You'll take academic and training content — scripts, research material, course text — and turn it into clear visual sequences: what appears on screen, in what order, and how it's shown. You don't need to be an SME or writer. You just need to understand what a piece of content is saying and know how to show it, not just describe it.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret academic scripts, research documents, and subject-matter inputs to identify the core concepts that need visual representation
- Translate written and verbal content into clear, sequential storyboards, including scene breakdowns, on-screen text placement, visual metaphors, and diagrams
- Simplify complex, abstract, or data-heavy academic concepts (e.g. governance, ESG, finance, leadership frameworks) into visually intuitive formats
- Plan pacing, framing, and transitions for each scene to support comprehension and learner engagement
- Incorporate feedback from academic reviewers, editors, and production teams through multiple revision rounds
- Maintain visual and stylistic consistency across modules, sessions, and course series
- Organize and document storyboard files in a clear, version-controlled, and production-ready format
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Storyboard Artist, Visual Content Designer, or in a closely related visual storytelling role
- Prior experience storyboarding for educational, academic, e-learning, or training content is strongly preferred
- A portfolio demonstrating storyboard work for narrative, instructional, or educational content is required
Core Skills
- Strong content comprehension — able to read dense or technical academic material and identify what matters visually
- Robust visual thinking — able to convert abstract ideas, frameworks, and data into clear scenes, diagrams, and visual metaphors
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling principles: composition, framing, pacing, sequencing, and camera direction
- Ability to balance visual creativity with instructional clarity, ensuring visuals support (not distract from) the learning goal
- Strong sketching and layout skills, whether hand-drawn or digital
- Ability to manage multiple modules or sessions simultaneously while maintaining quality and consistency
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in storyboarding and design software such as Storyboard Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or equivalent tools
- Working knowledge of presentation or animation software (e.g. Adobe After Effects, PowerPoint, Keynote) is a plus
- Familiarity with basic video/animation production workflows and how storyboards are handed off to animators or editors
- Comfortable working with shared production tools (e.g. Google Workspace, project management or file-versioning systems)
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail, particularly around factual and conceptual accuracy in academic content
- Organized and deadline-driven, with the ability to work across multiple projects and revision cycles
- Openness to incorporating structured feedback through revision cycles
Pay: ₹11,315.03 - ₹50,860.79 per month
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Paid sick time
- Paid time off
- Provident Fund
Work Location: In person
