Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Android applications — native (Kotlin/Java) or hybrid (Flutter / React Native), depending on your track.
- Convert designs and requirement discussions into clean, responsive mobile screens.
- Consume and integrate REST APIs (JSON) built on ASP.NET Core; handle authentication, tokens, pagination, and error states.
- Implement local/offline storage (Room, SQLite, Hive, AsyncStorage) and sync logic — field engineers routinely work with no network.
- Work with device features: camera, GPS/location, file upload, push notifications (FCM), barcode/QR scanning.
- Handle serial number and barcode capture flows used in service and dispatch operations.
- Debug crashes and ANRs using logs and Crashlytics; fix root causes.
- Build and publish APK/AAB releases; support internal distribution and Play Store submissions.
- Test on real low-end devices and varied Android versions — our users are not on flagship phones.
- Use Git for version control and follow team code-review practices.
- Coordinate with backend developers to shape API contracts before the code is written.

Must-Have Skills

- B.Tech/ BCA / MCA / B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent.
- Strong programming fundamentals — OOP, collections, null safety, async concepts.

One of the two tracks:

Native Track

- Kotlin (or Java) with Android SDK.
- Activities, Fragments, Intents, Lifecycle,



RecyclerView, ViewModel/LiveData.
- XML layouts (Jetpack Compose is a plus, not a must).
- Retrofit / OkHttp / Volley for API calls.
- SharedPreferences and Room or SQLite.

Hybrid Track

- Flutter (Dart) or React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Widget/component structure, navigation, and state management (Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, Redux, Context — any one, understood properly).
- HTTP/Dio/Axios for API integration.
- Local storage (Hive, SharedPreferences, AsyncStorage, SQLite).

Common to Both

- Understanding of HTTP, JSON, and how a REST API request/response actually works.
- Android Studio / VS Code, Gradle basics, ability to build a signed APK.
- Comfortable reading existing code before changing it.
- Transparent written and spoken communication in Hindi and English.

Good to Have

- Offline-first architecture and conflict/sync handling.
- Firebase — FCM push, Crashlytics, Analytics.
- Any published app on the Play Store, or a live GitHub project.
- Basic understanding of SQL Server and how backend data is actually stored.
- Awareness of MVVM / Clean Architecture for mobile.
- Exposure to IoT / device telemetry data or real-time dashboards and charts.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) and prompt-driven development.
- Basic iOS awareness if working on the hybrid track.
- Any experience with ERP, service management, or manufacturing/field-operations apps.
