Roles and Responsibilities of an Evening Tuition Teacher

- Teaching & Academic Support
- Teach students according to their class level and syllabus.
- Explain concepts clearly and provide additional academic support.
- Help students complete homework, assignments, and classwork.
- Conduct regular revision of lessons taught in school.
- Focus on improving students’ understanding in difficult subjects.
- Student Assessment
- Conduct regular tests, worksheets, and assessments.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and identify learning gaps.
- Provide individual attention to students who need additional support.
- Maintain records of test marks and academic performance.
- Doubt Clarification
- Clarify students’ doubts and questions.
- Provide step-by-step explanations for difficult topics.
- Encourage students to ask questions and participate actively.
- Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning workplace.
- Ensure students remain attentive and participate in activities.
- Manage the class effectively within the allotted evening tuition time.
- Study & Exam Preparation
- Prepare students for school examinations and periodic tests.
- Conduct revision sessions before examinations.
- Teach effective study, writing,



and time-management techniques.
- Provide practice questions and model papers where required.
- Parent Communication
- Keep parents informed about students’ academic progress.
- Discuss areas requiring improvement.
- Communicate concerns regarding attendance, discipline, or performance.
- Student Development
- Encourage regular study habits and self-discipline.
- Build students’ confidence and interest in learning.
- Motivate students to improve their academic performance.
- Support students in developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain daily attendance records.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Maintain student performance records.
- Follow the tuition centre/school’s rules, timings, and procedures.
- Professional Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and conduct classes according to the schedule.
- Maintain professional behaviour with students and parents.
- Use appropriate teaching methods according to students’ learning levels.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
