About the opportunity:

Business Unit: Energy & Power

The primary responsibilities of an Engineer - Electrical Infrastructure would be:

- Development of Key Line diagram, Protection SLD
- Preparation of Load list
- Electrical equipment sizing calculations (Transformer, DG, Switchgear, UPS, Battery)
- VVVF Drive selection and scheme development
- Cable sizing calculations, cable schedule & control cable schedule preparation, Routing drawings development
- Substation layout preparation, Lighting calculations & Lighting layout preparation
- Electrical equipment datasheet preparation (Transformer, Motor, HV/LV Switchgear, DG, VVVF drive)
- Preparation of Equipment specifications (Transformer, HV/LV Switchgear, DG)
- LV Switchgear schematic drawings preparation
- Power system studies (Load flow, Short-circuit, Motor starting, Protection coordination, Arc flash studies, Harmonic studies)

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications:

- Software Tools - ETAP, SKM Power tool, Dialux, AutoCAD
- Vendor data collection, Vendor drawings review
- Inter-discipline coordination
- Working experience on Australia projects is desirable




- Capable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
- Good communication
- Good knowledge on IEC standards, AS/NZS standards
- Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently.
- Able to communicate confidently with client or Foreign counterpart.
- Attending meetings with project leads/Engineers.
- Work with client and project managers to understand client requirements for key projects.
