Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines and medical supplies as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for correct medicine, dosage, strength, route, and quantity.
- Provide patients with transparent instructions regarding medication use, dosage, timing, and precautions.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines issued, received, returned, and expired.
- Monitor pharmacy stock levels and ensure timely procurement of medicines.
- Check expiry dates, batch numbers, storage conditions, and physical condition of medicines.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines, including temperature-sensitive and controlled medications.
- Maintain records of controlled and high-risk medicines as required by applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, laboratory staff, purchase department, and other hospital departments.




- Identify and report medication-related errors, adverse drug reactions, or discrepancies to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of the pharmacy.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and applicable pharmacy laws.
- Participate in stock audits, inventory reconciliation, and periodic pharmacy inspections.
- Minimize wastage and prevent unauthorized access or misuse of medicines.
- Support emergency pharmacy services and provide medicines to wards/ICU/OT as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
