About the Role

Jivik Renewables Private Limited is expanding its lithium battery manufacturing operations and is looking for an experienced Production Engineer to manage the production of 12.8V 100Ah, 25.6V 100Ah (8S) and 51.2V 100Ah (16S) LFP Battery Packs. The ideal candidate should have practical experience operating battery pack manufacturing equipment and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and supervise lithium battery pack manufacturing machines.
- Manufacture 12.8V 100Ah, 25.6V 100Ah (8S) and 51.2V 100Ah (16S) LFP battery packs.
- Handle cell sorting, cell matching, busbar assembly, spot/laser welding, insulation, BMS installation, wiring, and final pack assembly.
- Configure and test Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Perform electrical, functional, and safety testing of battery packs.
- Ensure compliance with production SOPs and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues.
- Maintain daily production records and machine maintenance logs.




- Coordinate with the Quality, Stores, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth production.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in lithium battery pack manufacturing.
- Experience in LFP battery pack production is preferred.
- Knowledge of battery assembly processes and electrical testing.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and production documentation.

Preferred Technical Skills

- LFP cell handling and assembly.
- Cell sorting and matching.
- Spot welding or laser welding.
- Busbar and nickel strip assembly.
- BMS installation, configuration, and testing.
- Battery insulation and enclosure assembly.
- Battery pack charging and discharging tests.
- End-of-Line (EOL) testing.
- Quality inspection and troubleshooting.
