Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Location: Hall Gate, Amritsar

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant with basic knowledge of Tally PRIME to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining books of accounts using Tally PRIME
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify and reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and basic financial reports
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Assist in GST returns and compliance (if applicable)
- Coordinate with senior accountants for audits and financial reviews

Requirements:





- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Tally ERP
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with GST and basic taxation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Experience:

- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (freshers with Tally knowledge are welcome)
