Job Summary:

The Production Head for the chimney manufacturing plant is responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure efficient operations, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a deep understanding of chimney manufacturing processes, strong leadership skills, and strategic planning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the chimney manufacturing process to meet production targets on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet changing demands.
- Monitor production processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead the production team, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Provide training and development to enhance team skills and performance.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the plant.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety audits and investigations, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Resource Management:
- Manage resources efficiently, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement:




- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop action plans based on data analysis and monitor progress.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address production issues and drive improvements.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the chimney manufacturing industry or a related field.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
