A production supervisor in the automobile manufacturing industry manages daily assembly or machining line operations, coordinates shift staff, tracks output metrics like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and enforces strict quality and safety compliance (such as IATF 16949 standards) to meet delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Shift Management: Allocate manpower, plan daily/weekly targets, and supervise assembly or machine shop operations (CNC/VMC, stamping, welding).
- Quality Control: Monitor defect rates, minimize rejections, and ensure strict alignment with engineering drawings, GD&T;, and automotive compliance standards. [
- Safety & Standards: Enforce plant safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace organization methods like 5S and Kaizen.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:



Work with maintenance teams on machine breakdowns, quality teams on root-cause analysis (RCA), and planning for smooth material flow.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 7+ years in an automotive component manufacturing or assembly workplace.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of machining tolerances, reading blue prints, OEE tracking, and ERP systems.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, shift roster management, and analytical problem-solving.

Pay: ₹18,010.62 - ₹62,340.76 per month
