Job Description

Job Summary:
AceNet Consulting is seeking a skilled SAP Security Specialist (IAS / XSUAA) to design, implement, and manage secure authentication and authorization solutions across SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), XSUAA, SAP security, Single Sign-On (SSO), and role-based access control, with experience securing SAP applications and CAP-based services.

Key Responsibilities:





- Design and implement authentication and authorization solutions using SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and XSUAA.
- Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) trust relationships and identity federation.
- Reuse and manage SSO trust configurations across enterprise applications (e.g., EDLM).
- Design persona-based role collections and authorization models for Employee, Manager, and Admin users.
- Configure XSUAA scopes, roles, and role collections for SAP CAP applications and services.
- Implement secure access control across SAP BTP applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with development and functional teams to define security requirements and access models.
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and identity integration issues.
- Prepare security documentation and support deployment, audits, and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to SAP security best practices and governance standards.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience configuring IAS, XSUAA, and SSO authentication.
- Experience designing role collections, authorization concepts, and persona-based security models.
- Hands-on experience with XSUAA scope mapping across SAP CAP services.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and enterprise identity federation.
- Experience securing SAP BTP applications and integrating with enterprise identity providers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have:

- SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP Security or related SAP Security certification.
- Experience with SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
- Exposure to SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Fiori, and CAP security.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP identity services.
