About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric therapy team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Occupational Therapy concepts and a genuine interest in working with children with developmental, behavioral, and sensory needs.

This role involves assessment, treatment planning, therapy implementation, documentation, and collaboration with parents and other professionals to support each child's development and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct occupational therapy assessments for pediatric clients.
- Plan and implement individualized therapy programs.
- Provide Sensory Integration Therapy and evidence-based pediatric OT interventions. Work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, and other developmental conditions.
- Address areas including: Fine and gross motor skills Sensory processing and regulation Visual-motor and perceptual skills Handwriting and school-related skills Activities of daily living Attention and functional participation Motor planning and coordination Maintain accurate session notes, assessment reports, and progress documentation.
- Regularly communicate children's progress and home-program recommendations to parents.
- Collaborate with special educators, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists,



and other professionals when required.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to individualized intervention planning.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapeutic environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid professional registration.
- Experience working with pediatric clients is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric Occupational Therapy and sensory processing.
- Sensory Integration certification/training will be an advantage.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents.
- Strong clinical reasoning and willingness to learn.
- Freshers with strong pediatric OT fundamentals may also be considered.
