Job Summary The ELV Engineer is responsible for the execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution ∙Supervise installation and commissioning of ELV systems. ∙Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. ∙Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and other trades. ∙Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.

ELV Systems ∙CCTV Surveillance Systems ∙Access Control Systems ∙Fire Alarm Systems ∙Public Address (PA) Systems ∙Structured Cabling Systems (LAN, CAT6/CAT6A, OFC) ∙Wi-Fi Systems ∙IP Telephony / IP PBX Systems ∙Video Intercom Systems ∙Nurse Call Systems ∙Building Management Systems (BMS) (where applicable)

Technical Responsibilities ∙

Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. ∙Prepare material requirements and coordinate procurement. ∙Conduct site surveys and inspections. ∙Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions. ∙Perform testing, commissioning, and system handover activities. ∙Ensure proper documentation, as-built drawings, and test reports.

Client & Vendor Coordination





Attend project meetings with clients and consultants. ∙Coordinate with vendors for material delivery and technical support. ∙Resolve site issues and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Quality & Safety

∙Ensure compliance with project quality standards. ∙Follow company safety procedures and site regulations. ∙Conduct regular inspections to maintain workmanship quality.

Qualifications ∙

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE ∙2–5 years of experience in ELV project execution. ∙Knowledge of ELV systems, structured cabling, and networking. ∙Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
