**Job Title:** Server Administrator

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for an experienced **Server Administrator** to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT infrastructure, including **Microsoft 365**, **Active Directory**, **Commvault Backup**, and **Windows/Linux servers**. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and administer **Windows and Linux servers**, ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability.

* Oversee **Active Directory (AD)**, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user account management.

* Handle **Microsoft 365** administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and security configurations.

* Configure and monitor **Commvault Backup and Recovery** systems; ensure timely data backups and restorations.

* Apply regular system patches, security updates, and firmware upgrades.

* Perform system health checks, resource monitoring, and capacity planning.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, applications, and network connectivity.

* Implement IT security best practices,



including access controls and data protection.

* Document system configurations, maintenance logs, and incident reports.

* Collaborate with the IT team for infrastructure projects, upgrades, and deployments.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

* Minimum **5 years of experience** in server administration or IT infrastructure management.

* Strong expertise in **Microsoft 365** and **Active Directory** management.

* Hands-on experience with **Commvault Backup** solutions.

* Knowledge of *VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Linux administration.*

* Familiarity with *network protocols *(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).*

* Understanding of IT security, compliance, and disaster recovery.

* Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, VMware VCP, or Commvault Certified Skilled.

* Experience in cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
