Experience

Minimum 1-3 years

Qualification

- Any Degree — preferably / BBA / BA / B.Sc.
- Positive English typing and computer skills
- MS Word / basic hospital software knowledge

Job responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

- Type discharge summaries as dictated/approved by the treating doctor.
- Ensure patient details, diagnosis, procedures, investigations and treatment details are accurately entered.
- Coordinate with doctors for completion/signature of the discharge summary.
- Check that all required discharge documents are available before sending the file for billing/discharge.
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, billing, laboratory and insurance/TPA for pending discharge requirements.




- Follow up with doctors for pending discharge summaries.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- File/scan discharge documents as per hospital policy.
- Maintain a list of patients whose discharge documentation is pending.
- Ensure corrections are made promptly when identified.
- Hand over completed documentation to Medical Records as per hospital procedure.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Experience:

- Discharge summary typing : 2 years (Required)
